Mr. Cordell brings valuable experience that includes 17 years in the engineering industry consisting of 13 years as a consulting engineer and 4 years in the management of a construction company that specializes in heavy civil construction.  Mr. Cordell’s wide variety of specialized experience during his career has introduced him to all of the different aspects of the engineering industry.  He has been responsible for the completion of a wide range of projects and has a unique compilation of experience in that he has been directly involved in all facets of these projects, including  conception of a project, planning, permitting, survey, engineering design, construction engineering, construction management and the actual construction.

Previous experience working as consulting engineer for both the private and public sectors has  afforded Mr. Cordell valuable experience in a variety of projects, including road construction, street overlays, reseals, grading and drainage, site development, traffic control and safety, traffic signalization, water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment and surveying.  His experience with those projects included conception, planning, permitting, easement and R.O.W acquisition, surveying, design, cost estimating, bidding, construction administration, and construction inspection.

Mr. Cordell’s previous experience working in the construction industry has also gained him valuable experience in the pricing, bidding, construction management, erosion control, EEO compliance, and contract compliance of heavy civil construction services for both the private and public sectors with projects in the fields of Transportation (DOT), Site Development and Utilities.
